Amsterdam Canal Hotel

As foreign tourists, we loved the excellent service provided by the friendly and accommodating staff. The location was perfect, with a short walk to a bustling square. The view from our balcony overlooking the canal was breathtaking. The modern bathroom and comfortable beds made our stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary use of the mini bar in the room was a pleasant surprise. We also appreciated the daily aperitif in the afternoon, which included a variety of drinks, snacks, and cheeses. The breakfast was amazing, with the option to order fresh omelettes and pancakes at no extra cost.

We felt completely satisfied with our stay and had no reason to complain.

This hotel is located in a lovely area away from the busyness of the town, right on a canal with lovely views. The rooms are on a higher level, with views of the tramway line, and some even have a balcony. The breakfast offered here is fantastic, with hot coffee or tea and a variety of freshly cooked dishes to choose from. The staff is merrily serving every taste, ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Some rooms may have tiny windows, limiting the amount of natural light that enters the room.

Charming, with exceptional staff, excellent location. No elevator, winding stairs, and small rooms. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, mosquito spray recommended. Easy access, lovely breakfast, helpful staff, all-day drinks available. Great extras, balcony with canal view, huge bath, free nibbles and drinks. Close to subway and shopping area. Free canal cruise a highlight. Lovely find, staff attentive, plentiful and yummy breakfasts, spectacular view. Can't wait to return, luggage storage helpful.

Fantastic staff, especially the gentleman in the dining area - exceptional service! Mo was also very helpful. Comfortable beds, good shower, and nice toiletries. Complimentary snacks and drinks were a great touch. Secure parking, albeit a bit pricey. Lovely view of the canal and a short walk to the tram. Breakfast with a great variety and eggs cooked to order. Evening bar was also very good. a great experience.

Felt at home, no reason to complain.

My young family and I had a lovely stay in the heart of the city. The location was fantastic, right on the water with boats moored below, and within easy walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. The room was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, including a free mini bar. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We loved the breakfast and the small bar downstairs, overlooking the canal.

There was no elevator in the building.

The size of the double room with a canal view was quite small, and the bed placement made it uncomfortable to fully enjoy the view. the shower had some issues with water flow, a bit inconvenient.

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with windows in 3 directions providing plenty of natural light. I especially loved the platform bed, which gave the room a modern and cozy feel. The breakfast was superb, with 4x freshly cooked dishes to choose from, including delicious pancakes for every taste. The staff were merrily serving and there were even hot options available too.
